If you work the molds correctly you will see some very good detailing such as the stalks of hay in the bale sets. Most reviewers did find that the molds in the Moon Dough Barn weren't as easy to use as the adverts suggested. This didn't appear to take away any of the fun for the kids though who seemed to really enjoy making their creations. The quality of the pieces produced did improve with practice and given that the Moon Dough doesn't dry out you can practice again and again.

If you do buy  Moon Dough Magic Barnyard for your kids you may want to encourage them to play it out on the porch or in a designated area of your home. The manufacturer hasn't included any storage boxes or bags so you might want to invest in a couple of cheap boxes to store the moon dough when not in use.
